SIPO and Korean Patent Office held the 12th Commissioner Conference in Beijing recently. Mr. Tian Lipu, Commissioner of SIPO, and Mr. Mr. Jong-Gap, Kim, Krean commissioner, attended the conference together with their respective parties.

On the conference, the two delegations exchanged the late progress of their IP system, felt satisfied with the cooperation in IP information searching, and decided to expand the content of joint searching. The commissioners agreed to enforce cooperation in patent statistic and patent examination so as to provide better service to the public.

The two parties also exchanged their views about issues of international IP, and sending liaison officer to each other. The conference summary was signed when it came to the end.
