Between 12 and 13 December, 06' China Mainland, Hong Kong and Macro IP Symposium was convoked in Haikou, the provincial capital of Hainan. Mr. Lin Fanglue, Vice Governor of Hainan, Mr. He Hua, Vice Commissioner of SIPO, Mr. Xie Sufang, director of Hong Kong IP Department, Mr. Dai Jianye, Vice Director of Macao Economy Department, Mr. Huang Xueren, Vice Director of Hainan Science and Technology Department attended the conference and delivered their speeches. Ms. Qian Mengshan presided its opening ceremony.

 

The symposium covered four topics: late IP progress in the three regions, IPR protection of Olympic Games, IP development plan in the 11th Five-Year Plan period, and enterprises' protection.

 

Since 2000 when the three regions began the meeting, it has aroused wide concern, and bridged the three regions in IP cooperation. The symposium this year enforced the cooperation among the three regions, and will promote the three regions IP work.
