"China will continue enforce IPR Protection and thus provide a better investment environment for French businesses," said Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao during his meeting with French President Jacques Chirac in the afternoon of January 26 in Beijing, "China pays high attention to the bilateral trade relation from the point of strategy partnership between China and France, and China will promote the cooperation with France in nuclear energy, aviation and space, railway, finance service and environmental protection, and by setting up investment funds as well as other means to aid medium-and-small sized" added Wen.　　

President Chirac said "China and France share wide and common interests, and has solid foundation for cooperation and the cooperation is also quite fruitful. I have reached a lot of agreements with Chinese leader in my visit, and those will promote the comprehensive strategy cooperation between France and China in a long run." "France also quite concerns the cooperation with China in nuclear energy, industry, aviation and space, railway as well as other fields, and is willing to provide favorable conditions for promoting the cooperation," the President expressed, "I agree with proposal from China to expand our cooperation finance, agriculture, environmental protection and other fields, and France will fulfill the agreements reached by two countries, and thus to achieve more in the two countries cooperation."
