According to information from the press conference hosted by SIPO on January 30, examination for invention patent in China has been concluded within 22 months, examination for utility model patent within 9 months and design invention within 6 months, while the re-examination and invalid application examination has been respectively finished within 18 and 13 months. This enables China to be one of the most efficient countries in patent examination.
