Tianjin Intellectual Property Service Hall, nestled in Tianjin Hi-Tech Industrial Park Huayuan Industry Development Area, officially opened on May 18. It is expected to be a full-fledged multi-functional platform for processing patent applications, collecting fees, providing documentations, dealing with technical project transactions, judicial appraisals, as well as reports and complaints.

 

Covering a total area of 600 sq. km, the Hall was established jointly by Tianjin Intellectual Property Service Center, Tianjin Service Center of IPR Protection, Reporting and Complaints, and Representative Office Tianjin (Service hotline: 12312) under State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO). The Hall incorporates different parts according to specific functions, including the patent application processing section, service section, complaint section and negotiation section, and is widely open to enterprises, institutions and the general public.
