IP Working Group Established by China and Switzerland

 

During the convening of the 17th Meeting of the China-Switzerland Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade, the "Memorandum of Understanding of the China-Switzerland Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade concerning the Establishment of the Working Group on Intellectual Property" was signed by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the Public Economy Department of the Swiss Confederation on May 29, 2007.  Pursuant to the "Memorandum" both sides will enhance the dialogue and cooperation in the intellectual property area and the communication of information and also devote themselves to explore the methods for the settlement of the related problems through the form of dialogue.

 

During the meeting, both sides made an all-round summing-up and reviewed the situation of the development of China-Switzerland bilateral economic and trade and explored the new measures and new approaches for further enhancing the cooperation in the trade, two-way investment and technology between the two countries, studied and pushed forward the important problems that existed in bilateral economic and trade cooperation, especially in corporate cooperation.
