Li Yuguang Met Nissan Vice President and His Party

On the morning of September 11, Li Yuguang, Deputy Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), met with Toshifumi Hirai, Vice President of Japan-based Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. The two parties introduced their respective achievements made through cooperation and exchanges, and discussed on a series of issues related to intellectual property.

 

During his talk with Toshirumi Hirai, Li expressed his appreciation to the achievements Nissan had made in Chinese market and its IP-related works. He exchanged views with the visiting Japanese delegation on the issues of how to protect consumers’ rights and interests and how to crack down on counterfeits in a pragmatic manner. Nissan delegation mentioned the seminar Nissan held in May under the supports of SIPO. Toshirumi Hirai expressed his hope of further strengthening bilateral exchanges with SIPO.
