“Industrialization Base for Chinese Inventors’ Achievements”were unveiled by Xing Shengcai

 

The 17th China Invention Exhibition and the First Langfang Technology Exchange Week were unveiled on the morning of September 25 in Langfang City, Hebei Province. Zhu Lilan, Member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and Chairwoman of China Inventions Association, Shang Yong, Vice Minister of Science and Technology, Li Qisheng, Member of the Standing Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Song Nanping, Secretary of the Secretariat of China Association for Science and Technology, Long Zhuangwei, Vice Governor of Hebei Province, and Xing Shengcai, Head of the Discipline Inspection Group of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) assigned by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection attended the opening ceremony.

Themed with “Innovative China, Innovative Hebei” and on the basis of specialty exhibition, high-level forum and diversified technology exchange activities, the exhibition shows new inventions, technologies and products emerged in recent years nationwide and the new achievements of patents, well-known and famous trademarks, products of famous brands and new varieties of plants of Hebei Province with the main thread of innovative strategy, innovative culture, innovative technology and innovative product. The purpose of the exhibition is to exhibit exchanges, share information, promote trading and create sound atmosphere. Occupying an area of 10,000 square meters with nearly 700 exhibition stands and more than 2,400 projects, the exhibition covers many areas such as machineries, chemical industry, medicine, food, construction material, environmental protection, electronics and articles for everyday use. Eighteen delegations from 11 cities with districts and related departments, bureaus and agencies of Hebei Province attended the exhibitions with 1,400 exhibition projects and 435 projects for prize election.

Approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the national-level large-scale invention and creation exhibition is jointly held by China Inventions Association and local governmental departments annually in provincial capitals nationwide. Langfang is the second prefecture-level city to hold the exhibition after Dongguan of Guangdong Province.

Up to the afternoon that day, intentions for cooperation of 32 projects had been made with contractual value of 230 million yuan. Contracts of six projects were signed on the spot, including the cooperation memo signed between the Zhongke Langfang Technology Valley Co. Ltd. and world famous Lucent Bell Labs (China). According to the eye-catching memo, Lucent Bell Labs (China) will provide consultation and suggestion services in IT and telecommunication industry for Zhongke Langfang Technology Valley, and at proper time, will make Zhongke Langfang Technology Valley the important strategic optional site of Bell Labs (China) expansion and relocation; in return, Zhongke Langfang Technology Valley will cooperate with Lucent Bell Labs (China) to develop ICT industry in terms of capital, technology, market and management. Bell Labs will participate in the cooperation in forms of technology transfer and technology appraising for capital stock. The other five projects are the latest achievements of scientific research jointly introduced by Hebei enterprises with domestic and foreign well-known scientific research organizations such as Germany-based Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Tsinghua University and Chinese Academy of Sciences.

At the opening ceremony, the “National Information Industrial Base” awarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the “Industrialization Base for Chinese Inventors’ Achievements” awarded by China Inventions Association were also unveiled.
