On October 9, Tianjin Municipal Government, Tianjin Municipal Commission of Science, Technology and Industry and Tianjin Municipal Intellectual Property Administration jointly held a IPR training program in Beijing for its district and county-level leaders. Zhang Qin, Deputy Commissioner of SIPO attended the opening ceremony and delivered a special lecture entitled "Independent Innovation and Intellectual Property." A total of 60 people, including district and county directors responsible for IP work, leaders of each district and county IP administration as well as science and technology department of Tianjin Municipality attended the training.

 

The goal of the training is to further implement the spirit of Chinese President Hu Jintao's speech on May 26 and to ensure local district and county-level leaders to better understand the situation and task in IP field, so that they can use IP system to promote local economy in a rapid and healthy way.
