Training Class on IPR in Modern Information Sector for National 653 Program Held in Nanchang

 

Recently, the Training Class on Public IPR Course in Modern Information Sector for National 653 Program was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, with 80 participants from 27 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. The class was jointly sponsored by the State Intellectual Property (SIPO) and Ministry of Personnel (MOP) of China and held by China Intellectual Property Training Center with the assistance of Jiangxi IP Administration.

 

This class is one of MOP's series of demonstration training courses on the public IPR course for the National 653 Program. The program aims at training 3 million medium and high-level professionals within six years from 2005 to 2010 to keep pace with the latest development of science and technology, especially in five areas such as modern agriculture, modern manufacturing industry, IT, energy technology and modern management. According to the overall requirement of implementing China's IP strategy and the plan of upgrading professionals' knowledge, the MOP and SIPO will jointly sponsor a series of demonstration training courses on public IPR course, which will be incorporated into the overall training plan of China's IP strategy.

 

The training class invited veteran experts with abundant experiences of IP management and implementation from the SIPO, IP Center of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and judicial departments to give lectures on China's IP strategy, patent and norm, judicial protection for IPR, the development of patented technologies in telecommunications sector and patent information retrieval and utilization. These lectures were illustrated with detailed cases. Meanwhile, the training class arranged discussions so that participants can talk about the problems in their routine works.

 

This class will exert positive influences in optimizing Chinese professionals' knowledge structures and improving their comprehensive levels in information realm.
