SIPO and DPMA Partnership Agreement Signed in Shanghai

Mr. Tian Lipu, Commissioner of SIPO had a meeting with Dr. Juergen Schade, the Director of German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA) days ago in Shanghai, and then, the two parties signed a partnership agreement.

 

The agreement, a result of 25-year cooperation between the SIPO and the DPMA, covers such aspects as patent examination, atomization and information service, staff training, etc. The agreement is expected to deepen their cooperation and to promote the development of economy and technology of the two countries.

 

Chen Zhixing, Director of Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, Albrecht von der Heyden, the Consul General of Germany in Shanghai attended the signing ceremony.
