He Hua Met KIPO Delegation

In the morning of November 19, He Hua, Deputy Commissioner of SIPO, met a delegation of Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) working on Sino-Korean joint patent searching. The two parties held a discussion on issues such as joint patent searching, as well as the patent examination quality and quantity.

After expressing welcome to the visitors, Mr. He fully recognized the achievement of cooperation between the two sides on joint patent searching. He said that SIPO expected to further cooperate with KIPO, and after a careful summary, to explore a right direction of this joint work.

The Korean visitors introduced the measures KIPO had taken to speed up patent examination, and expressed their wish to further their understanding to China's patent system, and to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with SIPO in term of patent examination.
