Chengdu, the First China IP Model City

 

Mr. Zhang Qin(L) granted a tablet inscripted National IP Model City to Mr. Bai Gang(R)

 

In the morning of November 21, the granting ceremony for Chengdu becoming the first IP model city in China was held in Chengdu city. Mr. Zhang Qin, Deputy Commissioner of SIPO, granted a tablet inscripted National IP Model City to Mr. Bai Gang, the vice mayor of the city. Thus Chengdu became the first city in China to have this honor.

 

National IP Model City is the highest evaluation standard in IP work for China's cities. Since 2005 when Chengdu was appointed as one of the three candidate cities, the city has carried out a series measures to reach the standard, and as a result of its effort, Chengdu became the first IP model city.
