President of EPO Visited Enterprises in Shanghai Accompanied by Tian Lipu

 

In the afternoon of Nov. 30, a delegation from European Patent Office headed by its President Mr. Alison Brimelow Cbe paid a visit to a minimal invasive medical instrument company in Shanhai. Mr. Tian Lipu, Commissioner of SIPO and leaders from Shanghai IP Administration as well as other relevant departments accompanied their European counterparts.

 

After listening to the introduction by Mr. Tian, Mr. Brimelow asked for the information of patent application strategy, patent awarding and the production from the company. Mr. Tian also gave a high remark to the company's consciousness in IPR protection, IP strategy and IP system, and asked the company to make further progress in utilization of IP system.

 

The minimal invasive instrument company, run by returned oversea Chinese students, consists of a hi-tech enterprise and a R&D Center in Shanghai. With its headquarter in Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park in Pudong, the company engages in the research, development and production of minimal invasive products, which are widely used in angiocardiopathy treatment. Since its establishment, the company has attracted many talented professionals and invested a lot in R&D and independent innovation.
