Supported by SIPO, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chinese Association of Science and Technology, the Chinese Society of IP Protection and the China Science and Technology Museum co-hosted the 1st exhibition of China Outstanding Patent and Invention on September 30, 2007. Days ago, the exhibition has closed after a big success and left a deep impression to numerous visitors.
As the exhibition was held in the museum, many children and teenagers were the majority of the visitors, and show great interest to quiz by touching screen, IM QQ, tetraploid fish and products made from luminescent material. The efforts and innovative spirits of inventors and Chinese enterprises also left a deep impression in those young minds.
The exhibition also attracted many mass media in Beijing, and China Central Education Television even made a special report at its prime time on November 7, 2007.
Three gold-medal patents, a dozen of excellent patents prized at the 10th China Patent Contest were exhibited in the event, and over 30 exhibits were collected by SIPO.
The exhibition is quite helpful in promoting independent innovation in China, stimulating the young generation to understand modern science and study hard.
The host plans to collect more exhibits in future and organize such kind of exhibition again.
