Guidance of Formulating Local IP Strategy distributed to local IP administrations by SIPO recently provides concrete requirement to local IP administration, indicating the formal start of IP Strategy formulation in each local department.

 

The Guidance asks the local IP administrations to give full attention to the formulation, as that is an important strategy to promote China's economic development and to deal with more and more overseas challenges. Formulating IP strategy in each province or municipality is a concrete and effective measure to fully implement the National IP Strategy, and what is more, will accelerate the local economic development in a healthy way.

 

In the formulation of local IP Strategy, following basic principles should be abided: to take National IP Strategy as the guideline, to take full consideration of overall development and local specialty, to combine the advantages of government and market, to make breakthrough in key aspects and to set up periodic plan and target.
