In the morning of March 26, SIPO Vice Commissioner He Hua meets with Mr. Hideo Taguchi, a visiting expert of Formality Examination Division of Japan Patent Office (JPO) and his party, and exchanges views on various issues in the area of patent reexamination.

Mr. He, after expressing his welcome to Hideo Taguchi and his party, notes that SIPO and JPO maintain sound and constant cooperation and exchanges, and it is undoubtedly of great significance to further strengthen exchanges between the two offices. The intensified exchanges between the Patent Reexamination Board of SIPO and Formality Examination Division of JPO will further boost the two offices’ development.

Hideo Taguchi says that JPO and SIPO maintain frequent contacts with strong developing impetus, and Japanese side would like to further exchange views with Chinese side in patent reexamination field.

On March 25, the conference in patent reexamination field between China and Japan, the third time between SIPO and JPO, is held in Beijing, when the two parties discuss various issues in reexamination field.
