Xing Shengcai Leads a PPAC Delegation to Japan and the Republic of Korea

 

Xing Shengcai, Commissioner of the SIPO leads a delegation of Patent Protection Association of China (PPAC) to well-known enterprises and related IP social organizations in Japan and the Republic of Korea recently, trying to find out the modes and experience of IP management of multinationals so as to improve the competitiveness of Chinese enterprises.

In the trip, Mr. Xing and his party visit Honda Motor Co., Ltd, Toyota Motor Corp., Seiko Epson Corp. and other multinationals, making thoroughly understanding of IP operation and management experience and practice, such as IP management modes, formulation and operation of IP strategies, patent applications and IP talent trainings.

During the meeting with Japan Intellectual Property Association (JIPA) and International Patent Assistance Center of Korean Electronics Association (KEA-IPAC), Mr. Xing highly appraises and affirms the friendly cooperation and exchanges between the PPAC and JIPA and the increasing exchanges and occasions of learning from each other between Chinese and Japanese enterprises.

Relative organizations and enterprises in the Republic of Korea also show positive attitudes towards their exchanges and cooperation with China in IP sector in the future.

The visit further strengthens the exchanges and cooperation of enterprises and social organizations between China and Japan and between China and the Republic of Korea, and helps relative units better understand the advanced modes and management concepts of Japanese and the Republic of Korean renowned enterprises in IP management, promoting the improvement, perfection and coordinative development of China’s IP system.

Managers from enterprises such as the NUCTECH Company Ltd., China FAW Group Corp., Tianjin Tasly Group and Changsha Giant Star Light Quality Building Materials Ltd. participated in the visit.
