Recently, SIPO Commissioner Tian Lipu meets Ms. Maria de los Angeles Sanchez Torres, Director-General of the Cuban Industrial Property Office (OCPI), who came to China to participate in the Second Conference of the Presidents of the Global Intellectual Property Academies of the WIPO.

Mr. Tian Lipu first expresses his welcome to Ms. Maria. He points out that owing to the long-lasting friendship between China and Cuba, SIPO and OCPI should launch closer cooperation. SIPO would like to continue cooperation with OCPI and constantly deepen bilateral friendly relations. Ms. Maria hopes to constantly deepening cooperation in terms of examiner training and high-level exchange visit.

During the meeting, both sides agree to arrange exchange visits for the heads of the two offices at proper time.
