Tian Lipu Gives a Report for Guizhou Leading Cadre Training Class on the Compendium of China National IP Strategy

 

 

The Guizhou Leading Cadre Training Class on the Compendium of China National IP Strategy (hereafter referred to as the Compendium) starts in Guiyang on August 25. Invited by Guizhou Provincial People's Government, SIPO Commissioner Tian Lipu reaches Guiyang and delivers the keynote report entitled Implementing IP Strategy and Constructing an Innovative Country for the training class.

Mr. Tian points out that against the background of knowledge-based economy and economic globalization, property-based intellect has become the most important essential factor of production and wealth resource. IP has become the existing and potential strategic resource and the core competitiveness of countries of knowledge-based economy and an increasing number of countries start to research, formulate and implement IP strategies suitable for their national situations. He points out that the core content of the Compendium is to promote system reform and constantly improve IP system along the main thread of promoting independent innovation and supporting the construction of an innovative country so as to reach the goal of forming the sound interactive structure of promoting innovation with system, and promoting development with innovation.

 

Sun Guoqiang, Vice Governor of Guizhou Provincial People's Government points out in his speech that measures should be taken to fully recognize the importance and urgency of implementing IP strategy, and transform the advantages of abundant resources of mineral, tourism, biology, ecology, traditional culture and unique agricultural produces in Guizhou into the advantages of economic development through implementing IP strategy.

 

The training class also invites Professor Wu Handong, President of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law to give a special lecture entitled IPR System and the Strategy of an Innovative Country.

 

More than 850 people, including competent leaders of nine cities (prefectures and regions), competent heads of 80 counties (county-level cities and districts), main leaders of state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises, colleges and universities and scientific research institutes, and leading cadres of and above the division level in offices directly under the provincial government participate in the training class.
