SIPO Deputy Commissioner He Hua recently leads a delegation to Dakar, capital of Senegal to attend the international conference on the corporate and economic development and IPR protection of the member states of the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI).

 

At the conference, Mr. He and OAPI top leader signs an IP cooperation agreement between SIPO and OAPI. He also has a meeting with the OAPI leader to further explore new cooperation modes and contents, reaching consensus on high-level exchange visits and personnel trainings.

 

The conference aims at finding the problems in the economic development of Africa Continent and discussing measures of boosting regional economic development through IPR systems. Ministers of various OAPI member states who are in charge of IP administration, culture and education and economic development and other representatives participate in the conference.
