On December 19, SIPO held the initial issuing ceremony of the book IP and China's 30 Years of Reform and Opening up and the Symposium of the 30th Anniversary of China's Reform and Opening up to the Outside World in Beijing. SIPO Commissioner Tian Lipu attends the activity and delivers a speech. Nearly 100 people including the heads of IP departments, former leaders of related units, experts and scholars, and the authors and members of editorial committee of the book attend the ceremony and the symposium.
Compiled by SIPO and other related units, the book IP and China's 30 Years of Reform and Opening up is published by IP Publishing House, consisting of three parts. The first part includes the reviewing and sum-up articles written by the current leaders of various departments of China's IP sectors. Reviewing and special articles written by former leaders and experts and scholars of related realms constitute the second part. The third part is the Appendix: Chronicle of IP Development.
Lu Yongxiang, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress wrote the preface to the book and leaders from nearly 20 related units such as SIPO, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and the National Copyright Administration also wrote articles for the book. The authors of the book also include a large number of former leaders who have worked in areas of IP research and administration for many years and other experts and scholars. They also experience, witness and promote China's IP development and China's reform and opening up to the outside world. Nearly 50 articles in the book vividly illustrate the complicated process of the establishment and development of China's IP system in an all round way, exerting important significance to the development and improvement of China's IP system.
