Tian Lipu Attends the Unveiling Ceremony of the Institute for International Intellectual Property of Peking University

 

The Unveiling Ceremony of the Institute for International Intellectual Property of Peking University (IIPP) and the Symposium on Opportunity and Challenge of Intellectual Property in New Economy Era is grandly held in Peking University. Luo Haocai, Former Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Tian Lipu, SIPO Commissioner, Li Jianchang, Director General of the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, Liu Yajun, Director of Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce and leaders of Peking University attend the unveiling ceremony.

IIPP is jointly established by Peking University and U.S.-based Asia-Pacific Legal Institute (APLI) to actively seek cooperation with international IP organizations, regional organs, governmental departments, academic groups and industries with the goal of serving as the national base of high-level IP talent training and the IP academic organization of the world first-class level so as to improve the perfection of China and the international IP systems. Consisting of the world first-class IP experts, the academic group of IIPP undertakes the work of academic researches, international exchanges and cooperation, professional talents education and training and professional consultation.

At the Symposium following the unveiling ceremony, experts discuss the topic of the opportunities and challenges of IP in the new economy era. More than 200 people including domestic and foreign experts and scholars, governmental officials, IP insiders and students of IP major in Peking University attend the symposium.
