On the morning of April 2, Li Yuguang, deputy Commissioner of SIPO, meets with Mr. Pervaiz Kausar, Chairman of IPO-Pakistan. Mr. Pervaiz Kausar attends the WIPO Inter-Regional High-Level Forum on Intellectual Property in Beijing. They introduce the latest development in the intellectual property of the two countries and reach an agreement on the exchanges of high-level visit and staff training of the intellectual property. The two sides will sign Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation soon.

Li first expresses his warm welcome to Mr. Pervaiz Kausar's visit and then introduces the amended Patent Law and the National IPR Strategy.

Mr. Pervaiz Kausar thanks Li for his interview. He says he appreciates the mutual visit between high-level leaders of the two countries' IPR departments, staff training and other cooperation in the intellectual property area.
