The 2009 National IPR Publicity Week featuring Culture, Strategy, Development is on from April 20 to 26.  During a ceremony kicking off the event, chairmen of the organizing committee, SIPO Commissioner Tian Lipu delivered a keynote speech.

 

He said, we will continue our endeavor in completing our relevant IPR tasks, upgrade the skills and standard of our countrymen in the creation, use, protection  and management of IPR to ensure the smooth implementation of the National IP Strategy and the materialization of the greater objective, making China an innovative country.

 

The members running this one-week event include: SIPO, Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, Supreme People's Court, Supreme People's Procuratorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Culture, State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, General Administration of Customs etc..
