Recently, Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) met Tan Yih San, Chief Executive of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) in Suzhou. Shen Changyu said that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Intellectual Property Rights between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Singapore was a milestone in the history of the bilateral cooperation on intellectual property rights between the two countries. China will conduct a close cooperation with Singapore and actively implement the content in the MOU. Mr. Tan Yih San said that the IPOS hopes to strengthen cooperation with the SIPO to seek common development. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on pushing forward pilot reform of the application and protection of IPR in Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City.
