On May 20, the series of high-level meetings among the world's largest five IP offices (IP5) kicked off in Suzhou City, during which time the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) Commissioner Shen Changyu and Korea Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) Commissioner Choi Donggyou held a talk.
Shen Changyu said while the Sino-Korea relationship was at its best time, the SIPO-KIPO partnership, with more than 20 years' sound cooperation, had witnessed smooth development, become closer and harvested notable achievements. The further strengthened China-Korea cooperation in the field of intellectual property would add vitality to the two countries' economic and trade development, which would benefit not only Asian countries but also the whole world.
Choi Donggyou said China had grown into a global power in intellectual property. KIPO would continue to maintain close relationship and cooperation with SIPO to provide better services for the two countries' industrial circles and intellectual property users.
