The 4th WIPO Copyright Gold Awards (China) Granted

 

On June 11th, the 4th WIPO Copyright Gold Awards (China) Ceremony was held in Xiamen, Fujian. 6 work awards, 4 promotion and use awards and 4 protection awards were handed out.

Reporters learned that, the novel "Red Sorghum" by Mo Yan, video works "Tongue of China 1"by CCTV Document Channel, "Laughing Cat Diary" series by Yang Hongying, "Song of Seven Cities" by Li Haiying (composer), artwork "Four Great Classics" by  Tianjin Shenjie Cartoon Co., Ltd., literary works "One Hundred Thousand Whys" by Children's Publishing House were awarded the Work Awards. Four companies got the Promotion and Use Awards, including Beijing iQIYI Science and Technology Ltd., Beijing iReader Science and Technology Ltd., Shanghai Wu'an Communications Ltd. and Qingdao Publishing Group Ltd. Protection Awards were issued to novel writer Zhang Kangkang, Anhui Province Public Security Bureau, Xiamen City Meiya Information Co., Ltd. and China Film Co., Ltd.

According to reports, the WIPO Copyright Gold Awards is a global award mechanism established in the field of copyright by WIPO, and nearly 70 countries and regions participate in. Since the beginning of 2008, China's National Copyright Administration introduced this award to China in cooperation with WIPO.
