He Zhimin Meets with AmCham-China Delegation

 

Recently, SIPO Deputy Commissioner He Zhimin met with President Mark Duval of The American Chamber of Commerce in the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as AmCham-China) and his delegation in Beijing. Both sides have in-depth communication on amendment of Chinese Patent Law, Regulations on Service Invention, patent administrative enforcement and protection. After the meeting, Mark Duval submitted the 2015 American Business in China White Paper and 2015 China Business Climate Survey Report to He Zhimin.

He Zhimin said AmCham-China is a bridge in promoting trade cooperation bewteen China and US and also provide many helpful comments and suggestions for China in the amendment, policy formulation and implementation of intellectual property law.  SIPO has always attached great importance to the voices from the industry and have maintained good cooperative relations with AmCham-China and other industry representatives. He hoped that the delegation's visit can further deepen mutual understanding and trust.

Mark Duval spoke highly of China's work on IP protection in recent years. He said that China's economic development is remarkable and IPR undertaking is full of opportunities and challenges. He hoped that more American enterprises are encouraged to enter China and achieve common development.
