On January 8, He Zhimin, Deputy Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) met in Beijing with Ramzi Haidamus, President of Nokia Technologies at Nokia Corporation. They had in-depth discussions on issues of common interests, including IP management, patent license and essential patents in standard. Mr. He said that SIPO always attaches great importance to providing high quality IP services to users and the general public. And he hoped that through this meeting, SIPO would have a better understanding about the needs of domestic and international users and would be able to provide better services and support on IP creation, utilization, protection and management to companies.
