BEIJING, Apr.26 (SIPO) -- Recently, He Zhimin, Deputy Commisioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of P.R.C. (SIPO), led delegation to visit the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) under the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE), the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI), and the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria (BPO), and achieved multiple cooperation oucomes.

During his visit in Italy, He Zhimin held talks with Antonio Gentile, Under-Secretary of MISE, and signed work plan 2016-2017 for cooperation in intellectual property (IP) under the Sino-Italy governmental cooperation framework. During his talk with Loredana Gulino, Director General of UIBM, the two sides exchanged in-depth which laid a solid foundation for further IP cooperation between China and Italy. The delegation also visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and held discussions on issues concerning the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

During his visit in Switzerland, He Zhimin and the delegation visited IPI and held the fifth bilateral talk with the Deputy Director General Felix Addor. The two Officers later co-hosted the third Chinese-Swiss Industry Roundtable on Intellectual Property.

The year 2016 marked the 20th anniversary of the cooperation between SIPO and BPO. Mr. He Zhimin, President of BPO Kamen Veselinov, Vice-President Zocca Milena, and Vice-President David Sukalinski had an in-depth exchange of views.
