Nov.3 -- Recently, at the invitation of the governing intellectual property (IP) office in Ecuador, Deputy Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C (SIPO) He Zhimin led a delegation to visit Ecuador. During his visit in Ecuador, He Zhimin held a tripartite talk with Deputy Director of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation (SENESCYT) Rina Pazos and Executive Director of the Ecuadorian Institute of Intellectual Property (IEPI) Hernán Rocha. After the talk, he signed with the two parties a trilateral cooperation agreement between the SIPO, the SENESCYT and the IEPI. He Zhimin said that the signing of the agreement marked the upgrade in IP cooperation between China and Ecuador, and that the SIPO and the IEPI will strengthen their pragmatic cooperation in areas such as sharing of work, patent examination, personnel training and informatization.
