Dec.16 -- Recently, Deputy Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C (SIPO) Zhang Maoyu met with a delegation led by Caren Cochrane, Chief IP Counsel of the Royal Dutch Shell. The two sides exchanged views on topics such as revising the Guidelines for Examination and the practices of the Patent Reexamination Committee. Zhang Maoyu said that the SIPO has always attached importance to listening to the opinions of the intellectual property (IP) industry, kept improving works and striven to provide better IP services to IP users and the public. Caren Cochrane said that the Royal Dutch Shell highly values the Chinese market and has built a professional IP team based in China.
