Shen Changyu said that after thirty years of development, the cooperation between SIPO and INPI has been fruitful in terms of data exchange, staff training, and a bilateral joint patent committee. He hoped that the two sides would continue to expand the fields of cooperation and deepen cooperation in a more pragmatic way to provide better services for the public and the IPR users of the two countries.
Mr. Soubeyran said in his speech that Shen's visit not only helped facilitate the friendly cooperative relations but also especially meaningful in opening up a new chapter for future cooperation. The INPI will continue to stay in close contact with SIPO to promote cooperation in the field of IPR.
On June 5th, Shen Changyu led a delegation to visit the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic (IPO CZ) and held talks with Josef Kratochvil, President of IPO CZ. The two sides signed the Joint Statement of Intent on the Cooperation of Patent Prosecution Highway between SIPO and IPO CZ.
