Jul.18 -- He Zhimin, Deputy Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C (SIPO) met with Felipe Claro, president of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) in Beijing on July 14. During the meeting, He Zhimin introduced the latest progress of the intellectual property (IP) work in China, learnt the latest work of the AIPPI and expressed the willingness to listen to advices concerning the development of IP system. Felipe Claro spoke highly of the achievement China had accomplished in IP work and offered suggestions on adjusting the global patent system. In regard to the AIPPI conference to be held in Hangzhou, 2020, the two sides reached consensus in conducting further communication and collaboration in order to ensure its success.
