He Zhimin Meets with Delegations from American Chamber of Commerce in China and U.S. China Business Council

 

June 28--Recently in Beijing, He Zhimin, Deputy Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of P.R.C. (SIPO) met with Alan Beebe, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in China (ACCC) and Erin Ennis, Senior Vice President of the U.S. China Business Council (USCBC).

He Zhimin  said that SIPO attached importance to cooperating with U.S. non-governmental organizations, including the ACCC and the USCBC. It is willing to listen to the opinions and suggestions from the industry concerning how to improve intellectual property (IP) work, and strives to provide better services to the global IP users. He hoped that through communicating with U.S. non-governmental organizations, the SIPO would deepen its communication with the U.S., avoid misjudgments, and jointly promote the communication and cooperation between China and the U.S. in the IP field.

The U.S. representatives spoke highly of SIPO’s open and positive attitude and expressed the willingness to strengthen communication with the SIPO and promote understanding.
