Recently, the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) Deputy Commissioner He Zhimin met with John Bochnovic, President of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and other members of the visiting delegation. He Zhimin said that AIPPI not only played an active role in driving IP exchanges between countries, but also made unremitting efforts to promote enterprises, public institutions and the public’s awareness of IP protection. He hoped that the two sides could further enhance understanding, and jointly push forward the development of IP.  Mr. Bochnovic said that the support of its chapters around the world was indispensible to AIPPI’s development. He expressed thanks to SIPO for its support over the past years, and hoped the two sides develop closer cooperative relations. The two sides also exchanged ideas on issues including building Patent Examination Cooperation Center, industrial design and patent information sharing.
