Tian Lipu Meets With Australian Ambassador to China

 

Recently, Tian Lipu, Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), met with Ms. Frances Adamson, Australian Ambassador to China. Both sides exchanged views on intellectual property issues of common concern.

 

Tian extended a warm welcome to Ms. Frances Adamson. He said Australian Embassy to China has played a positive role in promoting Sino-Australian cooperation in the field of intellectual property and served as a bridge for communications between the two countries. Ms. Frances Adamson showed appreciation for China’s achievements in development of the intellectual property cause. She said the Australian Embassy to China is ready to strengthen Sino-Australian collaboration in innovation and intellectual property.

 

During the talks, Tian also introduced the situation of cooperation between the SIPO and IP Australia and topics to be discussed on the upcoming IP Director Meeting of China and Australia. Both sides also had discussions about many topics such as intellectual property protection and enhancing bilateral intellectual property cooperation.
