2012 United States-China Intellectual Property Adjudication Conference was held in Beijing on May 28. SIPO Commissioner Tian Lipu and Unite States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Director David Kappos jointly attended the opening ceremony. During the discussions, Tian delivered a speech on the topic of the New Tendency of China Patent System. In the speech, he stressed that despite both countries have the differences in stages of development and national conditions, the development and improvement of patent system might have some in common with protecting and promoting innovation which also provided the foundation for learning and studying for both countries.
