Tian Lipu Honored in IAM 50

 

The latest issue of UK-based Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) magazine released the List of 50 Influential People and Enterprises in boosting market development, SIPO Commissioner Tian Lipu was included in the list.


According to the IAM, under the leadership of Mr. Tian, SIPO's IPR work is undergoing steady development and is playing a more and more important role in the international stage. Now, SIPO has become one of the most important patent organizations in the world. The magazine says that the Chinese government is attaching great importance to IPR development and making it an important support in accelerating transformation of the mode of economic development, and Mr. Tian is pivotal in this progress. 


IAM began its first publication in July 2003. In celebrating publication of their 50 issues, the magazine selected a list of 50 influential people and enterprises in boosting market development based on their eight year coverage. United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Director David Kappos, among others, was also selected on the list.
