China Attending 49th Meeting of WIPO Assemblies

 

A Chinese delegation under the leadership of SIPO Commissioner Tian Lipu recently took part in the 49th series of meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) from 26 September to 5 October in Geneva. On behalf of the Chinese government,Tian deliver a speech at the meeting. Tian said that China has made tremendous efforts in improving its IPR protection system and thus helped further advance the global system in certain sense. China is committed to learning and sharing the proven practices with other countries in a bid to advance the course of IPR, so that to realize common development and meet challenges altogether.

Tian reported to the meeting IPR development in China in 2010.According to Tian, China's innovation activities contribute to the powerful growth of IPR applications and have mirrored that global innovation is now entering a new round of active phase.
