"Successful implementation of the IP strategy rendered remarkable achievements during the past two years since the the State Council promulgated the Outline of National Intellectual Property Strategy in 2008," said He Hua, Deduty Commissioner of SIPO, at a press conference during the 4th session of the 11th NPC focusing on strengthening IPR protection on March 13.

Increased IPR protection was China's rational choice and firm commitment. China should step up IPR protection, improve the nation's capacity of creation, applicion, protection and management, to achieve the target of evolving into an innovation-oriented nation; stronger efforts were also promised to step up IPR protection and build an IP system which has made tremendous achievements in the past 30 years, He stressed.
