The 19th National Invention Exhibition Opens in Shaanxi

 

The 19th National Invention Exhibition opened in Xi'an Qu Jiang International Exhibition Center on Sep 8th. Deputy director of China's State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) Bao Hong attended the opening ceremony.

 

This exhibition, hosted by China Invention Association and the People's Government of Shaanxi Provincial, focused on implementing the scientific concept of development and “three major strategies”: rejuvenating the country through science and education, reinvigorating China through human resource development, and National IP Strategy.

 

Through enhancing independent innovation capability and aiming at building an innovative country, we would adjust our industrial structure to make greater contribution to the West Development by promoting excellent inventions and patented technologies. The exhibition for the first time established the "Invention Exhibition Award", along with other special awards set up by World Intellectual Property Organization, the International Federation of Inventors Associations and other international organizations.

 

 

There would be about 500 booths from 23 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and more than 1,700 inventions from 42 companies from Taiwan, Hong Kong in the 1 million square meters of exhibition hall. This will become the largest, highest event in the history with the largest number of exhibitors, visitors, and trade. In this invention, Shaanxi has five exhibition pavilions feathering patent industrialization projects in Shaanxi Province, low-carbon energy saving exhibition, works of invention and innovation by Shaanxi university students, works of invention and innovation by Shaanxi employees, and the 4th China Patent Week Shaanxi Area exhibition. There are approximately 300 items from 165 companies.
