Yang Tiejun Visited Australia and New Zealand IP Offices

 

 

Yang Tiejun met with New Zealand Intellectual Property Office Director Ross Van der Schyff.

Recently, SIPO Deputy Director Yang Tiejun led a delegation to Australia and New Zealand by the invitations of IP Australia and the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand.

In Australia, Yang Tiejun had talks with the IP Australian Chief Information Officer David Johnson. During the talks, both sides introduced their latest development and progress made in informatization. They also had a thorough discussion on planning of informatization, IT project management, operational systems, data processing and other issues of common concern. In addition, consensus was reached on cooperation on patent data. The delegation also paid a visit to IBM  Australia Business Innovation Centre during their stay in Australia. The two sides had an in-depth exchange on IT architecture optimization, cloud computing, planning, construction of disaster recovery center and data center.

In New Zealand, Yang Tiejun had talks with New Zealand Intellectual Property Office Director Ross Van der Schyff. The two sides introduced their latest development and progress made in informatization. Consensus was reached on data exchange between two offices.
