The 12th China patent award selection, co-hosted by WIPO and SIPO initiated recently. SIPO distributed a specific notice on the event.

 

According to the notice, applicants applying for the 12th China patent award should meet the following requirements: The applicants should have applied for patents in SIPO and been granted before March 1, 2010. The scope of patents includes invention, utility model and design patents, while excluding defense patents, secret patents. The patent rights should be of high certainty and superior standard, and should be put into use, bring good economic and social benefits. The ownership of the patent rights should be clear, without legal dispute. In addition,  past winners should not enter into competition.  The applicants should submit the materials before June 23, 2010.
