On July 23rd, SIPO deputy director general He Hua met with vice-president of Glaxo SmithKline China R&D Center Dr.Chen Ling and his crew of three.

He Hua briefly introduced three amendments of China's Patent Law and changes on Examination Guideline to the guests. He expressed that he would, as always, ask for advice from users both at home and abroad in a open and transparent way, so as to provide better services. Chen Ling briefly introduced Glaxo SmithKline China R&D Center's development and he pointed out that innovation and skilled personnel were the key points.

After the meeting, related person in charge from SIPO's Patent Affairs Administration  Department and Chen Ling and his guests exchanged ideas on detailed issues regarding the changes on Examination Guideline.
