On July 23rd, SIPO deputy director general Gan Shaoning met with Director General of IPR Department of Thomson Reuters Group, David Brown.
Gan briefly introduced NIPS's design and implementation and its latest acceptance. He pointed out that NIPS is a long term developing policy, aiming to enhance the capability of IPR's creativity, implementation, protection and management, so as to support and guarantee China to become an innovation-oriented country.
David Brown reviewed that China's IPR course has gained rapid progress, drawing world's attention. He applauded for China's initiative to set up NIPS and he expressed that Thomson Reuters would like to offer more help as possible as a professional information service provider.
