Recently, Lin Binhui, Deputy Director of the State Intellectual Property Office made an inspection on the intellectual property protection work at the Bazhou Hall and the Liuhua Hall of the Guangzhou Export Commodities Fair (GECF).

During the inspection, Deputy Director Lin Binhui focused his attention on knowing the receiving process of the complaints on the protection for intellectual property in all the previous sessions of the GECF and also this session's handling flow in receiving complaints pertaining to intellectual property.  He also visited the Publicity Column on Intellectual Property specially opened by the GECF with interest.  He emphasized that the intellectual property protection work of the GECF is very important and that we must go all out to do the work well because it is a sure guarantee for maintaining a fair and orderly environment for competition.  Meanwhile, Deputy Director Lin also had had cordial talks with those intellectual property owners who came to make their complaints, trying to know the special characteristics of their infringed patents, enquiring whether they had had difficulties in making their complaints as well as their comments on the center of complaint.
