Deputy Director Li Yuguang meeting with the Danish Patent Trademark Bureau delegation

 

A few days ago, Deputy Director Li Yuguang of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) had a meeting with the Danish Patent Trademark Office delegation. At the meeting Li Yuguang first of all expressed his welcome to the delegation headed by Deputy Director Keld N. Jensen of Danish Patent Trademark Office, and the guest extended thanks to the host. Both sides reviewed the progress of cooperation between the two offices, introduced their respective latest situations and discussed the orientation for future cooperation.

 

Li Yuguang pointed out, the Chinese and Danish patent trademark offices maintain an excellent cooperative relationship, and high-level reciprocal visits can not only deepen the mutual understanding and friendship between both sides, but also open up new areas for cooperation. This time, within the framework of the minutes signed in January 1 between the two offices, both sides will further discuss matters concerning the supply of professional and special information services. Li Yuguang expressed his confidence in that both offices will achieve a success in their cooperation.

 

Present at the meeting, officials from the International Affairs Department, Coordination Department, HR and Education Department and IT Department of the SIPO made introductions to the guests in respect of personnel training, IT construction, provision of patent information to the social public and enterprises. Both sides studied matters regarding their cooperation plan.

 

During the October 9 ?11 period, Deputy Director Mr. Keld N. Jensen of the Danish Patent Trademark Office and his party including Mrs. Lone Saaby, Division Chief of the Business Development of the Office paid a friendly visit to the SIPO. Both sides exchanged views and had discussions on the development of an intellectual property auditing strategy plan, provision of intellectual property service and personnel training, and on matters regarding mutual cooperation.

 

It is learned that during its stay in Beijing the delegation also visited LENOVO and spoke highly of the development of Chinese enterprises, intellectual property strategy and practical experience gained in the management of intellectual property. Commercial counselor and others of the Danish embassy in Beijing joined the visit.
