Seminar marking 25 years of Sino-German intellectual property cooperation opened in Munich

 

Recently, a seminar marking 25 years of Sino-German intellectual property cooperation was solemnly opened in Munich, Germany.  This seminar was co-chaired by Tian Lipu, director of the Chinese State Intellectual Property Office and Mr. Shadd, Director of the German Patent and Trademark Bureau.  Director Tian delivered a special-topic report on the situation of protection of intellectual property in China.  During the Seminar, the participants reviewed and looked ahead the Sino-German intellectual property cooperation which was a complete success and said that the seminar laid a solid foundation for the further strengthening and deepening of our cooperation in the future.

Also present at the seminar were Mr. Lutz Diwell, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Justice, Mr. Christian Ude, Mayor of Munich City, Mr. Hans Peter Kunz Hallstein, President of the German Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and Copyright. Mr. Lothar Steiling, Vice President of the German Patent Lawyers and Patent Workers Federation, Professor Joseph Straus of the Marp Intellectual Property Institute, Mr. Lutz, President of the Federal Intellectual Property Court as well as the representatives from the German Lawyers Association, the German Siemens Ltd, the German BMW Ltd, the German Industrial Federation, the German intellectual property circle and other institutions.

The related leaders and experts from the Chinese State Intellectual Property Office, Tongji University, Huawei technology Co., Ltd. Tianjin Tianshili Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. also made statements on the relevant subjects respectively.
